Business and Taxation:

Michael B. Allen: Tax and Accounting Specialist

Michael graduated from Community Christian High School in South Glens Falls, NY and attended Messiah College in Grantham, PA with a major in Mathematics Education. Michael worked for Sayles & Evans law firm in Elmira, NY for seven years as a legal assistant. He concentrates his time in administration and investment analysis of private trusts and non-profit foundations. He is also responsible to review and analyze investment returns for various trusts and non-profit foundations. He supervises the income tax work group, which prepares all personal and fiduciary income tax returns as well as returns for non-profit charities and foundations. Michael came to Owlett & Lewis, P.C. from Living Word Academy where he served as Principal for two and a half years.

Alexis Taft: Accounting Assistant

Alexis graduated from Elkland High School, Elkland, PA in 1987 and Pennsylvania College of Technology in 1991 with an Associates Degree in Business Management. She joined Owlett & Lewis, P.C. in September, 1999. Alexis is responsible for the accurate input of data from various financial institutions and advisors for analysis by the Tax & Accounting Specialist. She is also a member of the income tax work group and is trained in the preparation of federal and state personal income tax returns.

Estate and Trust Planning and Administration:

Cheryl L. Bubacz: Legal Assistant

Cheryl graduated from North Penn High School in Blossburg, PA in 1982 and Mansfield University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Economics. Cheryl joined Owlett & Lewis, P.C. in May, 1997 as a Legal Assistant. In addition to being the Legal Assistant to Attorneys Edward H. Owlett and Brian S. Duff, she is responsible for the preparation of documentation for complex estate planning matters and estate administration. She is the principal consultant for the technology and computer applications for the firm.

Naomi C. Wetherbee: Senior Estate Administrator

Naomi joined Owlett & Lewis, P.C. in 1953. She has been the Senior Estate Administrator for Attorney Edward H. Owlett for 25 years. Naomi focuses her attention in the administration of complex estates and the preparation of Pennsylvania Inheritance and federal estate tax returns.

Michelle Stettler: Legal Assistant

Michelle graduated from Mansfield High School, Mansfield, PA in 1990. Michelle joined Owlett & Lewis, P.C., in May, 2007 as a Legal Assistant. In addition to being the legal assistant to Attorneys Thomas M. Owlett and Samantha A. Wilcox, Michelle is responsible for the preparation of business incorporation documentation as well as estate planning and estate administration. Michelle has also received her certificate for personal income tax preparation.

Real Estate:

Rosemary B. Boyce: Senior Abstractor

Rosemary has been with Owlett & Lewis, P.C. since November, 1971. Rosemary is responsible for the accurate searching of real estate titles, for the preparation of Deeds and for issuing title insurance policies and title opinions. She has over 30 years of real estate title searching experience and has a thorough knowledge of Tioga County real estate issues.

Bobbi P. McCauley: Director Real Estate Department

Bobbi graduated from Blue Mountain Academy in Hamburg, PA in 1980. Bobbi joined Owlett & Lewis, P.C. in August, 1994 as a legal assistant in the Real Estate Department. She came to the firm with over 5 years experience in searching real estate titles. Since joining the firm, Bobbi has been primarily responsible for the preparation of documents for residential and commercial real estate closings and loan closings. Bobbi coordinates the work within the Real Estate Group so that closings can be handled in a prompt, efficient and friendly fashion.

Andee Cummings: Legal Assistant

Andee graduated from Mansfield High School, Mansfield, PA in 1999 and Mansfield University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus in Business Management in 2004. Andee joined the firm of Owlett & Lewis, P.C. in January, 2006 as a Legal Assistant. Andee prepares title opinions, title insurance policies and closing documents.

Adam Heitzenrater: Abstractor

Adam graduated from Elkland High School, Elkland, PA in 1999 and Mansfield University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 2003. Adam joined the firm of Owlett & Lewis, P.C. in November, 2004 as a Real Estate Abstractor after working with another law firm in a similar capacity. Adam searches real estate titles and prepares title opinions, title insurance policies and closing documents.
